Custom designed to Dr Ann’s specifications, our brand new Joule X™ platform effectively treats pigmentation and textural issues, as well as the dullness and laxity that come with aging, …all with minimal discomfort and downtime. Unlike many clinics, all Halo and BBL treatments of the face, neck and chest are administered by our lead providers, Dr. Ann Marshall and Sara Sorenson, our nurse practitioner. This level of care allows us to provide more powerful and more effective treatments in fewer visits. Halo™ Hybrid Fractional Laser
Ranked the 2nd most popular nonsurgical treatment, the Halo™ laser is the first and only laser that combines ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to the same microscopic area of skin. Why does this matter? Because it allows us to achieve significant results without as much downtime! Dr. Ann cites this technology as one of the greatest advances in the minimally invasive aesthetic arena of the last decade and describes it as her best “workhorse” for improving skin quality. One of the very first physicians in Minnesota to treat patients with the Halo™, she remains as excited about it now as she was when it came to market in 2014. At Dr. Ann Aesthetics, we use this device as a lifter, tightener, and pore-size reducer. The added benefits of better texture, improved tone, minimal downtime and the improved safety in our melasma and darker skinned patients makes it a slam dunk. And we love the fact that skin continues to improve in the months following the treatment! This technology is wonderful for face, neck, chest, hands, as well as body. For those whose skin is already in good shape, but who desire the pore-shrinking, skin-stimulating “jumpstart” of a Halo™ procedure. Ideal for those who would like to Halo more than once a year, but prefer to keep their downtime to a minimum.
Halo™ Glow
Great for those who have started to notice signs of aging...wrinkles, textural changes, loss of volume. Plan for a long weekend’s worth of minimal to moderate swelling and sandpapery texture. Many patients choose to have this procedure every 12 to 18 months in order to keep their skin in tip-top shape.
Halo™ Max
For patients struggling with significant issues such as acne scars, deeper wrinkles, profound laxity or for those patients who are looking for a more aggressive treatment who don’t mind additional downtime.
Forever Young BBL™ (Broadband Light)
This is our second “workhorse ”when it comes to revitalizing damaged skin. This trademarked intense pulsed light treatment is ideal for rosacea and sunspots, targeting unwanted color in the top layer of skin. Studies have proven that the anti-aging benefits penetrate even deeper. In fact, the procedure became known as the “Forever Young” BBL after research revealed an increase in expression of the genes responsible for repairing and replacing damaged skin cells after just one treatment. This innovative technology is a great entry point for those patients ready to be proactive in the fight against aging skin on the face, neck, chest and body. The “Forever Clear BBL” and “Forever Bare BBL” treatments are excellent tools in the battle against acne and unwanted hair as well.

MicroLaser Peel®
While this modality has traditionally been used to remove the very top layer of skin cells over a large surface, we love it most for treating what we jokingly refer to as the “barnacles of aging”...sebaceous hyperplasia’s, solar keratosis, skin tags and the like. It is also helpful to smooth and soften raised scars. A wonderful addition to Halo and BBL in patients with these issues.
The Clear Suite Platform
This amazing suite of lasers (Clear V, Clear Silk, Clear Hair) is the best weapon against superficial vascular issues such as broken capillaries / visible vessels on the face, rosacea / redness of the face, neck and chest, the post-inflammatory redness left behind by acne breakouts, as well as cherry hemangiomas. We love these treatments as a “boost” to maximize the improvement of redness in conjunction with, or following, BBL and Halo™. These lasers are also used to treat spider veins on the legs, as well as to treat mild to moderate cases of onychomycosis (fungus under the nail). It also allows safe laser hair removal for our dark-skinned patients.
ThermaScan™
This non-ablative, non-invasive laser harnesses the power of infrared energy to heat the sebaceous glands, thus minimizing their oil production, resulting in fewer breakouts. This procedure is very safe and well tolerated, and is great as a boost for both the “Forever Clear” BBL® and to the Clear V platform in the fight against acne in both teenagers and adults.
Forever Bare BBL™
By far the safest and and most comfortable technology that removes unwanted hair, Sciton’s Forever Bare BBL™ utilized multiple pulses to diffuse powerful and lower discomfort.
