The Providers
Dr. Ann Marshall
Founder/Owner/Physician
Dr. Ann is known for her natural-looking results, her ability to guide patients through an overwhelming array of treatment options, and her commitment to trying every treatment herself before offering it to patients.
Her goal in opening her practice was to create a space where she and her team can explore cutting-edge technologies and innovations in aesthetics while ensuring an exceptional patient experience. Ann earned a degree in English Literature from the University of Michigan in 1992 and an MD from the University of Chicago in 1996, graduating in the top 10% of her class. She began her career in Emergency Medicine, completing her residency as Chief Resident in Denver and later teaching at UCSF. After relocating to Minnesota, she practiced Emergency Medicine until 2009.
Passionate about aging gracefully, Dr. Ann pursued additional training and transitioned to aesthetic medicine. After a decade at a well-established aesthetic practice, she opened her own clinic in 2019.
Nichole Sorteberg, ARNP, FNP-C, IBLM
Cosmetic Dermatology Family Nurse Practitioner
Nichole is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with secondary certification in Lifestyle Medicine, bringing over 16 years of healthcare experience—including five years specializing in aesthetic, regenerative, and hormone-based medicine.
As a Master Injector, she has trained with world-renowned experts from Allergan, Galderma, and Revance, and completed extensive advanced laser and regenerative medicine training. Her 13-year service as an Army Medical Department officer provided critical care experience across neurology, cardiology, trauma surgery, and emergency medicine.
Nichole is known for her precision, warmth, and natural-looking results that prioritize patient safety and overall well-being.

Gena Schmoll
Gena's passion for skin stems from a lifelong commitment to whole-body wellness and helping others feel their most confident. With over 25 years of experience in the skincare and wellness industry, she has trained and worked alongside leading practitioners, plastic surgeons, and medical doctors, continuously refining her craft.
What sets Gena apart is her ability to blend clinical expertise with holistic practices. Drawing on her studies in Ayurveda, yoga, and integrative healing, she creates a balanced, restorative experience that nurtures both skin and spirit.
Her approach centers on personalized care, thoughtful connection, and the belief that glowing skin begins with overall well-being. Gena's calming energy and attention to detail make every treatment a truly rejuvenating experience.
Advanced Practice Aesthetician
Kathleen Maier
With over 15 years of experience as an aesthetician, Kathleen brings both expertise and genuine care to every patient she sees. She earned her aesthetics license from the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis in 2006 and has since dedicated her career to helping patients achieve radiant, healthy skin.
Kathleen continually seeks opportunities to learn new techniques and technologies. Her approach is rooted in collaboration—partnering closely with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans that deliver results while supporting long-term skin health.
Known for her calming presence and attention to detail, Kathleen takes pride in helping her patients look and feel their best, leaving each appointment with confidence and a glow that goes beyond the surface.

Abby Nimz
Abby began her career in aesthetics as a Certified Laser Technician, where she discovered her passion for helping others feel confident in their skin. Driven by a love for learning, she became an Advanced Practice Aesthetician and Phlebotomist—combining technical skill with a naturally caring, patient-focused approach.
At DAA, Abby assists with advanced procedures, performs blood draws for PlasmaSculpt and PRF treatments, and guides patients through personalized skincare journeys. Her favorite part of the work is building meaningful relationships with patients and watching their confidence grow over time.
Whether recommending a skincare routine, preparing a patient for treatment, or assisting providers behind the scenes, Abby brings warmth, professionalism, and positivity to everything she does. Outside the clinic, she enjoys time with family and friends, exploring wellness trends, and staying active.

Audrey Yang
Audrey began her journey in the beauty industry as a hair colorist, where she developed a love for helping others look and feel their best. Her passion for skincare blossomed after navigating her own acne struggles—an experience that ignited a fascination with skin health and the science behind lasting results.
As an Advanced Practice Aesthetician and Clinical Assistant, Audrey brings both technical skill and compassionate care to every patient interaction. She specializes in blood draws for PRF treatments and combines clinical expertise with customized skincare recommendations that enhance natural beauty and promote confidence.
Outside the clinic, Audrey enjoys hiking in Rhode Island with her fiancé, exploring local coffee shops, and soaking up nature. Her warmth, precision, and genuine enthusiasm make her a trusted resource for patients on their skincare journey.

Kasey Foley
With over 10 years in the aesthetics industry, Kasey brings both expertise and warmth to every patient interaction. As an Advanced Practice Aesthetician and Certified Medical Assistant, she believes that health, wellness, and skin are deeply connected. Whether helping patients reach their skincare goals, preparing them for upcoming treatments, or assisting providers with advanced procedures, Kasey's comprehensive approach ensures exceptional care at every step.
Patients and staff are drawn to her friendly personality, inviting smile, and positive attitude. Her versatility and clinical skill make her an invaluable part of the DAA practice.
Outside the clinic, you might find her remodeling her kitchen, running around with her three little ones, or spending quality time with her husband and family at their cabin.

Jen Halvorson
Jen is our Practice Manager and Knowledge Ninja. Jen has been in the healthcare and aesthetic industry for over 20 years. We’ve never met a problem that Jen can’t solve (sometimes her epiphanies come to her in the middle of working out or shopping with her kids…so we’ve come to expect texts from her at all hours!!). We often joke that Jen’s original plan was to have a fun, part-time gig, but she was so good at everything that she became a pillar of strength for our entire practice. Her quick wit, organization, and easy-going personality are just some of the reasons why we are so lucky to have her on the DAA team!
Office Manager
Chris Audette
With over 20 years of experience in customer and client service, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Holding an associate's degree in applied science, Chris's career started as a receptionist and climbed the ranks to office manager. Known for her compassionate and fun-loving nature, Chris creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere within the clinic. Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending the summers exploring Minnesota’s lakes and campgrounds with her husband and their two young boys.

Tina Nimz
Tina brings sweet, calming, and caring energy to our practice. As one of the first faces patients see, she has a gift for making everyone feel welcomed, valued, and at ease.
Before joining the DAA team, Tina worked as a freelance graphic designer and cycle instructor for Life Time. She's passionate about helping people feel confident in their skin and believes that true beauty starts from the inside out. She loves connecting with patients, supporting them through their aesthetic journey, and being part of a team dedicated to helping others look and feel their best.
Outside the clinic, Tina enjoys time with her two dogs, Boo and Benny, family and friends, staying active, and exploring creative outlets. Her positive energy and authentic kindness make her an essential part of the DAA experience.
Sydney Carlson
Patient Liaison/AP Aesthetician
Sydney is passionate about spreading kindness and helping others feel their best—inside and out. After overcoming her own skin challenges, she was inspired to pursue aesthetics, sparking a deep commitment to understanding skin health that led her to become a licensed Advanced Practice Aesthetician.
Sydney creates a welcoming and empowering environment for every patient she meets. She believes that great skin is more than surface-deep—it's about confidence, self-care, and consistency.
Outside the clinic, Sydney enjoys spending time with loved ones, getting lost in a good book, exploring new restaurants, and attending concerts. Her energy, empathy, and love for people shine through in everything she does—making her a valued part of the DAA team.

Tabita Georgiyesh
We love the creative energy Tabita brings to our clinic—there's never a dull moment when filming begins! Her eye for storytelling and passion for aesthetics shine through in every piece of content she creates, helping our brand come to life in an authentic, engaging way.
Outside the clinic, Tabita enjoys creating fun and inspiring social media content that showcases her vibrant personality and wide range of interests—from wellness and beauty to lifestyle and design.
Tabita has a deep love for her family, her faith, and her health, and she carries that same passion for balance and purpose into everything she does. Her warmth, creativity, and eye for detail make her an integral part of the DAA team and a true light in our clinic.
